Leopold of Austria (1586-1632) is the second brother of Ferdinand II of Austria and Styria son of Charles and Mary of Bavaria. He took holy orders and became Bishop of Metz, Bishop of Strasbourg and Passau, abbot of Murbach and Lure from 1614 to 1626. In 1620, as the Duke of Austria and Count of Tyrol, it begins to monetize in Alsace. He left the order in 1626 and married Claude de Medici (1604-1648) whom he has three children. He died in 1632.
